Stop 02 · Get chosen

n8n workflows, built properly and kept running.

We design and build n8n workflows and AI agents for the work your team repeats, on n8n Cloud or on your own server. Every build ships with failure alerts, and updates are tested before they reach your live workflows, because the biggest risk with n8n is not a crash. It is a workflow that quietly stops.

What this covers

Everything on this stop.

Workflow builds

Order operations, reporting, lead routing and data syncs between the tools you already use, with error branches and retries designed in from the start.

AI agents in n8n

Workflows that read, sort and draft with an AI model, with a human checkpoint wherever a mistake would cost money.

Self-hosted setup

n8n on your own server with backups, HTTPS and access control, for when volume is high or data should not leave your infrastructure.

Moving from Zapier or Make

Rebuilding existing workflows in n8n and running old and new side by side until the outputs match, then switching over.

Updates without surprises

Reading each release's breaking changes and testing workflows before an update, so a new version cannot switch anything off unnoticed.

Monitoring and care

Alerts for runs that failed and for runs that should have happened and did not, plus fixes when a connected tool changes.

Why we watch for silence

Our own n8n stopped for five days, and nothing failed.

In late April 2026, after an update, workflows on our own n8n server stopped activating. n8n 2.0 switches off its Execute Command node by default for security, a documented change, and those workflows depended on it. No error, no alert, just zero runs, and five days before anyone noticed. It is why we treat a run that should have happened and did not as a failure, and alert on it.

How it works

Four steps, in order.

1

Map one process

We pick a single, bounded, measurable process, not “adopt AI”. Something with a before and after you can inspect.

2

Build + test

The workflow, its error handling, and the alerts for when the world changes underneath it.

3

Prove it

It runs alongside the manual process until the numbers show it's trustworthy. Then it takes over.

4

Keep it alive

Care plan: monitoring, failure alerts, fixes when connected tools change their APIs. Or a runbook handover if you'd rather own it.

Engagements are a fixed-scope build with the price agreed before work starts, plus an optional monthly care plan afterwards. Every project begins with a free thirty-minute call.

System Routes handled our Shopify to WooCommerce migration smoothly and set up the automations we needed without disrupting our operations. They also helped bring our ad spend down while keeping our order volume steady. They were reliable, easy to communicate with, and focused on getting practical results. I'd happily recommend them.

Fair questions

Asked before, answered here.

Should we self-host n8n or use n8n Cloud?

Cloud if nobody on your side wants to own a server: n8n handles updates and uptime, from €20 a month billed annually for 2,500 workflow runs. Self-host if volume is high or data must stay on your infrastructure: the software is free, but updates, backups and security become someone's job. We set up either and will tell you which fits.

Is n8n free for business use?

Self-hosted n8n is free for your own internal business use under its Sustainable Use License, with no limit on runs. What needs a paid licence is selling n8n itself, for example hosting it as a paid service or white-labelling it. n8n's documentation explicitly allows consultants to build workflows for clients. The licence in plain words.

Who owns the workflows?

You do. They run in your own n8n Cloud account or on your own server, under your credentials, and you get a runbook. If we ever part ways, nothing stops running.

Why n8n rather than Zapier or Make?

n8n charges for each whole run rather than each step, so long or frequent workflows cost far less, and it can run on your own server. Zapier is simpler for short workflows built by non-developers, and Make sits in between. We build on all three and are not a reseller for any of them. See the cost comparison.
